51³Ô¹ÏÍø celebrates its care-experienced students
Organisations nationwide are taking part in throughout April to celebrate and raise awareness of care-experienced people. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø students who have spent time in the care system (children’s homes, foster care, kinship care, etc.) are an important part of our community, and we are proud of their achievements and contributions. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø marks the occasion with the following activities:
Sundays 5 and 19 April | Community Café for Care-experienced and Estranged Students
14:00-17:00, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Chaplaincy, 15 Prince's Gardens SW7 1NA, Google maps link:
The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Student Union Network for Estranged and Care-experienced Students (EaCESN) runs a fortnightly student-led Community Café which welcomes all undergraduate and postgraduate students who identify as care-experienced and/or as estranged from both their parents. There will be free pastries and hot drinks as well a group of care-experienced students who understand what it is like to study with this background.
