The MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences
The has been based at the Hammersmith Hospital campus in West London since its creation in 1994. In 2017 the Medical Research Council and 51³Ô¹ÏÍø announced a joint project to for the MRC LMS on the former Cyclotron site.
The LMS pursues world-leading discovery science, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary research and collaboration. In 2017, work began on a new home for the LMS at White City, featuring 12,000 square metres of workspace and advanced research facilities.
