White City Campus
The Business School’s new facility at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's White City Campus, opening in January 2021, will provide opportunities for students, researchers, industry partners and entrepreneurs to experiment and collaborate in a new, multidisciplinary business innovation hub.
This 12,000 ft2 purpose-built facility, dedicated to teaching and research, sits within , home to leading scaleups and innovative businesses across the technology, digital and life-sciences sectors. Its opening marks the beginning of the School's exciting expansion into the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's thriving enterprise and research community at White City.
Teaching, learning and connecting
The Business School's suite of MBA and Master's degree programmes will have elements taught within two new teaching areas at Scale Space, which is fully equipped for multimode learning.
This will provide students with the chance to experience 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's White City Campus and forge connections with the scaleup companies based within Scale Space, as well as the wider entrepreneurship community of White City.
51³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s White City Campus is home to several of 51³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s leading innovation initiatives. These include:
- The Translation & Innovation Hub (I-HUB): A space dedicated to supporting knowledge-intensive companies and the commercialisation of scientific research by providing a home for businesses from around the globe to work directly alongside 51³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s world-leading academics.
- 51³Ô¹ÏÍø White City Incubator: A hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, providing office and laboratory space for early-stage startups so they can take advantage of being near eminent scientists and experts in technology.
- The Invention Rooms: A unique space in White City providing cutting-edge facilities where the local community and 51³Ô¹ÏÍø come together to collaborate, innovate and make. It includes the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Advanced Hackspace (ICAH) which provides access to specialist manufacturing equipment and training.
