Technical information about this websites accessibility
51勛圖厙 business school is committed to making this website accessible, in accordance with the
Compliance status
This website has been tested against the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.
This website is partially compliant with the泭泭AA standard, due to the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.
We remain committed to improving accessibility and welcome feedback to help us identify and address any barrier.
Non-accessible
1.泭Across all tested pages, the user is unable to view and interact with the sub-navigation menu items by using Dragon Naturally Speaking. When Show Links is activated, the navigation only shows the main landing page links, when泭the user chooses a link or announces the menu item in full, it directs the user to the landing page only.
Additionally, on the MBA Brochure page, the user is unable to interact with any of the form泭fields泭which means they are unable to fill it in and泭submit泭it. Furthermore, the user cannot interact with the How to Apply links on the 'Full-Time MBA泭Admissions'泭page.泭
On the Our Students page, the phrase Show Links does not highlight any of the student profiles. To interact with these profiles, the user must navigate to the last filter option and tab their way through them, which is not practical and could take a long time if they specifically want to read a profile which appears at the bottom of the list.泭泭
All these elements, fail WCAG 2.2 success criterion 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value). We are working on addressing these issues; however, we need our content management suppliers (HubSpot) input to resolve them. We are aiming to resolve them by December 2026.
2.泭Events Listing page that the left-hand sidebar navigation links are not grouped using a <nav> element, this will cause screen泭reader users confusion as they may not be able to understand these elements relationship, nor can they navigate quickly to key sections of the page.
This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships).泭We will make sure that all key sections of our pages are grouped together correctly, therefore easy to navigate, by December 2026.
3. The form that is present on the Download MBA Brochure page does not泭contain泭any泭fieldset泭or legend. Additionally, on the Our Students page the Filter By dropdowns were not grouped. This could affect screen reader users by making it more difficult to understand. Because the relationship between the form fields and Related form elements are not grouped with泭fieldset/legend. 羔
This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships). We are planning to group all related form elements together by a泭fieldset/legend,泭e.g.泭the user's home泭address泭and work address fields. After this remediation, the three distinct sections of personal details, study intentions, and professional details will be grouped together. We are aiming to complete this by January 2026.
4.泭On the Download MBA Brochure page when form fields received focus, the visible boundaries have low contrast ratio against the page background. The play button on a video on the Home page lack contrast when hovered.泭Additionally, on the Home, MBA Landing, Full-Time MBA, Masters Landing, and Full-Time MBA (FTMBA) Admissions pages, the blue calls to action are displayed on a blue background when received focus, the focus indicator has a contrast ratio of less than 3:1 against the background. There is also not enough contrast between the visual boundaries of user interface components in a selected or focused state and the background. These may affect users with low vision or colour blindness.
This fails WCAG 2.2 criterion 1.4.11 (Non-Text Contrast). We are aiming to correct contrast issues by December 2026.
5.泭On the Download MBA Brochure page, the Please select placeholders within the form dropdowns have a泭low colour泭contrast ratio against their background. The red asterisks on the Download MBA Brochure page have a low contrast ratio. These may affect users with low vision or colour blindness. This fails WCAG 2.2 criterion 1.4.3 (Contrast minimum). We are aiming to address all contrast issues by December 2026.
6.泭On the Download MBA Brochure page after applying custom CSS styles, text within the form, including the Stay Informed section below it, does not receive custom styling. This could affect users who rely on custom CSS styles to make text more readable.泭This fails WCAG 2.2 AA 1.4.12 (Text Spacing). We are aiming to achieve custom styling abilities on form texts by December 2026.泭
7.泭On the Download MBA Brochure page mandatory fields are泭indicated泭using an asterisk, with no message informing the user what the asterisks represented. It is expected that a message is present to inform users, such as All fields marked with an asterisk are required. This could affect users, particularly those with cognitive impairments or who are unfamiliar with the convention of using an asterisk to denote mandatory fields, as they may not understand which fields are泭required.泭
This fails WCAG 2.2 criterion 3.3.2 (Labels on instructions). We are aiming to add relevant instructions (such as required) to form elements, or we will provide泭the relevant information within the element's label (or if a label is not provided, within the element's title attribute) to explain what is required such as a specific format, value, or length. We are planning to complete this work by December 2026.泭
8.泭On the 'Download MBA Brochure page, the visual boundaries of form field elements have a low colour contrast ratio against the page background. This may cause users, with low vision, or with colour blindness difficulties as it will make it difficult to distinguish the edges of each form field. This fails WCAG 2.2 criterion 1.4.11 (Non-Text contrast). We are aiming to resolve these contrast issues by December 2026.
9.泭There are pre-recorded videos on this website that do not have either a descriptive text transcript or an audio description track. This could affect users who are blind or have low vision, as they may miss important visual information conveyed in the videos that泭is泭not provided through audio泭description.泭This fails WCAG 2.2 criteria 1.2.3 and 1.2.5 (Audio Description or Media Alternative). We are aiming to include either a descriptive text or audio descriptive tracks on to the pre-recorded videos by December 2026.
