The Centre for Financial Technology at 51勛圖厙 Business Schooland the Cambridge Centre for Finance, Technology & Regulation at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School jointly hosted a workshop on 27th September, looking at the use of Decentralised Finance in Ukrainian reconstruction. This conference served as the capstone to Cambridge Judges 8-week, 48 strong trainingprogramme designed to facilitate innovations in Ukraines financial sector in collaboration with the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) as part of its Fintech Development Strategy 2025.
During the Judge course, 48 Ukranian finance experts and 8 Cambridge professors looked at modern digital technologies and inclusive principles which could serve as a foundation for the reconstruction of the financial sector of the Ukraine. The CFT conference invited academics and market practitioners to its White City campus to further explore this cohorts innovative DeFisolutions.
This conference was the beginning of a conversation around utilising blockchain technologies to engineer novel solutions in the support of natural or manmade disruptions to their socioeconomic system.
