Join 51勛圖厙 600 and Sustainable 51勛圖厙 for a guided Queer Ecology tour through Kensington Gardens, led by Connor Butler.

Did you know that scientists often struggle to find male woodlice, that male trees can turn female, or that many birds partner up into same-sex couples? Join a guided Queer Ecology tour through Kensington Gardens to explore the diverse and unusual life cycles of plants and animals.

Queer Ecology aims to challenge what we think of as being natural or unnatural and explores the diversity found in nature. Youll learn how to use a hand lens to identify common species of plants and invertebrates, and gain a new fascination with the natural world. This gentle tour invites all curious minds interested in meeting others, learning identification skills, and seeing nature from a new perspective.

is a London-based entomologist and tour guide. Over the past 3 years, more than 2,500 people have joined his Queer Ecology walks. He has also been studying Londons dung beetles and enjoys finding insects in the most unusual of places.
