Our pre-sessional courses areÌýfull-time, intensiveÌýcoursesÌýwith a fast-paced and varied programme of classes and activities. They aim to upgrade your academic language, both written and spoken, and to advance your understanding of what will be expected of you as a student at an English-medium STEMB university. They are also designed to give you the opportunity to explore and familiarise yourself with 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s campuses and facilities before your main degree programme begins. Our pre-sessional courses, then, are an ideal way of preparing for successÌýin your first term at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. Ìý
In addition, the Centre for Academic English runs multiple activities throughout the year to aid you in academic communication, including, but not limited to, writing lab reports, speaking and listening in an academic context, and overall STEMB writing.
