The Mohn Centre is delighted to announce that Dr Astrid Guttmann will deliver a special seminar focusing on her work on prenatal opioid exposure and the meaningful involvement of Indigenous communities in this research. The seminar will be followed by a Q&A session.
This seminar sits within the Mohn Centre’s wider work to establish a network of child health equity centres, in partnership with colleagues in Toronto, Melbourne and London. This growing network represents a shared global commitment to advancing equitable child health research through sustained international collaboration.
Dr Astrid Guttmann is a general paediatrician and Senior Scientist at the Hospital for Sick Children, co-Director of the Edwin S.H. Leong Centre for Healthy Children at the University of Toronto, and Senior Scientist and Chief Science Officer at ICES, Canada’s largest health services and policy research institute.
