Many of us assume that choosing a new career requires deep soul-searching or a flash of inspiration. The result? We overthink our options and delay taking action.
Steve Dalton believes theres a faster, more practical approach. Rather than trying to identify the perfect career from the comfort of your desk, he advocates a series of quick exercises we can all use to generate ideas. Once we have a hypothesis we can start to test (via networking) in the real world, making progress and gathering evidence at the same time.
In this webinar we will discuss Steves fast prototyping approach to career choice, in particular:
- Five practical methods泭to generate泭new career ideas
- Two exercises that you can complete at home in泭less than five minutes
- How泭many career pathways泭to explore at any time
- How to find (and learn from) people already in the泭career you are targeting
- How to make泭confident career decisions泭without feeling you need all the answers first
- Why泭not knowing泭what you want to do with your life is a泭great place to start
