This is where it all begins.
Kick off your 51³Ô¹ÏÍø journey with a welcome from 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Provost and Deputy President, Professor Peter Haynes, and the President of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Union, Daniel Zhou. You’ll also hear from other key staff and student representatives from your Faculty who will give you a flavour of all the thing’s you have to look forward to during your time at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø.
This talk is only for new first year undergraduate students from the following departments:
- Chemical Engineering
- Design Engineering
- Computing (including JMC)
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering (including both EEE and EIE streams)
You don’t need to register in advance. All new undergraduate students from these departments are invited.
Location information
This event is taking place off-campus in The Royal Geographical Society’s Ondaatje Lecture Theatre. This can be accessed from Exhibition Road approximately 3-5 minute walk north of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Main Entrance, just before the entrance to Hyde Park. There will be Welcome Ambassadors in bright indigo t-shirts to help guide you along the route from the South Kensington Campus.
