We are inviting young people aged 16–30 to join us for this youth summit in London, in the context of COP31.
The International Climate and Sustainability Youth Summit 2026 will take place to coincide with COP31 in Türkiye. Join us and share your views!
The Summit is co-hosted by the United Nations Association Climate & Oceans and the Leverhulme Centre for Wildfires, Environment and Society, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø.
Inspired by the global momentum surrounding COP31, this international gathering will bring together young leaders, diplomats, academics, sustainability and geopolitics experts, policymakers and civil society to discuss the urgent climate and sustainability challenges shaping our shared future.
Discussions will focus on interconnected challenges including global water and energy security, wildfires and climate resilience, international relations and geopolitics, and the role of youth leadership in driving climate action.
At the Youth Summit, we will hear the latest developments and outcomes from COP31 in Türkiye, engage in thought-provoking discussions, connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for climate action, and explore practical pathways towards a more sustainable, resilient and secure world. From inspiring keynote speakers to impactful discussions, the event will provide opportunities to learn, exchange ideas and contribute to the climate conversation.
Whether you’re already involved in environmental initiatives or just starting your journey, this summit welcomes individuals of all backgrounds and experience levels.

This is a free event, which means we overbook to allow for no-shows and avoid empty seats. While we generally do not have to turn people away, this does mean we cannot guarantee all ticket holders a place. Admission is on a first come, first served basis.
