For 2027 entry, we’re launching 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Inspires with at least 300 scholarships worth £15,000 per year for international students who are eligible to pay our Overseas rate of tuition. 

In the years ahead, we’ll be launching even more 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Inspires Scholarships for students from the UK.

Overview

Our sector-leading 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Inspires scholarships provide financial support for outstanding international applicants to undergraduate and selected postgraduate taught courses.

For students who apply for autumn 2027 entry, we are offering at least 300 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Inspires scholarships across our four Faculties:

• Engineering
• Natural Sciences
• Medicine
• 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Business School

What you could receive

Successful applicants will be awarded £15,000 per year for each year of course, providing meaningful support towards your tuition fees and living costs.

Are you eligible?

To be eligible for the scholarship for 2027 entry, you must be:

• An international student paying the Overseas rate of tuition
• Applying for a full-time undergraduate course, or selected full-time postgraduate taught course, which offers an 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Inspires scholarship in the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Medicine or 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Business School. 

How to apply

• Step 1: Submit your 51³Ô¹ÏÍø undergraduate or postgraduate application through or the  after the application opens in September 2026.
• Step 2: If an 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Inspires scholarship is available for your course and you meet the minimum entry and eligibility requirements, you will be invited to complete an additional essay question from September 2026.
