Eligibility criteria
51³Ô¹ÏÍø Inspires is our transformative new scholarships programme, designed to support talented students from the UK and around the globe to access an 51³Ô¹ÏÍø education. Scholarships are available to outstanding international applicants for undergraduate courses and selected postgraduate taught courses.
To be eligible, you must be:
An international student who is eligible to pay the Overseas rate of tuition.
Applying for a full-time undergraduate course, or a selected full-time postgraduate taught course, which offers an 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Inspires scholarship within the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Medicine or 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Business School.
Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.
Course specific information
Scholarships are available across four Faculties: Engineering, Natural Sciences, Medicine and 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Business School. Only courses that participate in 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Inspires will be eligible. Further details of participating departments will be published in due course.
Application process
Step 1: Submit your 51³Ô¹ÏÍø undergraduate or postgraduate application through or the website after the application opens in September 2026
Step 2: If an 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Inspires scholarship is available for your course and you meet the minimum entry and eligibility requirements, you will be invited to complete an additional essay question from September 2026.
