Eligibility criteria

  • Be assessed as Home for fee purposes
  • Meet the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's definition of a Widening Participation candidate
  • Be eligible for the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Bursary
  • Make 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Business School your Firm choice
  • Meet the prescribed offer conditions of entry
  • Make satisfactory progress each year of the degree, to continue receiving subsequent years’ funding

Course specific information

This award is specifically available to students applying to programmes at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Business School. Eligible students will receive the Widening Participation Award on top of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Bursary.

 

Application process

Eligible candidates who receive an offer for the programme will automatically be considered for the Widening Participation Award. There is no separate application process required for this award.

However, to be considered, candidates must ensure they apply for their programme by the UCAS deadline of 29 January 2025.

Additional information

This living expenses grant is designed to support talented candidates from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds in their pursuit of education at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Business School. By addressing financial barriers, this grant aims to make higher education more accessible to those who qualify under 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's Widening Participation criteria 

Awarded in addition to the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Bursary, this grant ensures that eligible students have the financial support they need to fully engage in their studies and make the most of their academic experience. All students who meet 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's Widening Participation criteria and are recipients of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Bursary are automatically considered for this award.
