Ray Rothrock is founder of FiftySix Investments and Partner Emeritus at Venrock, the venture capital arm of the Rockefeller family, where he spent 25 years leading investments in cybersecurity, energy, and internet infrastructure. He served as Chairman and CEO of RedSeal, a cyber risk modeling company, and previously chaired the National Venture Capital Association. He has been twice named to the Forbes Midas List. Rothrock serves on the boards of Check Point Software, Roku, the MIT Corporation, and the Nuclear Innovation Alliance, among others, and is the author of Digital Resilience: Is Your Company Ready for the Next Cyber Threat? (HarperCollins, 2018). He holds a BS in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M, an MS in Nuclear Engineering from MIT, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
