Chemical engineers turn raw materials into the products we use every day – from the food we eat, to the clothes we wear, and the energy that powers our world. We were the first chemical engineering department in the country, and we’re still leading the way today. Join us to find out more about studying this subject at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and the cutting-edge facilities you’ll have access to, like the world’s most advanced Carbon Capture Pilot Plant.
Medicine: 17.30–18.30
Why does our MBBS Medicine degree last six years? What do our MMI interviews involve? When will you start to gain clinical experience? Join us at this session to find answers to these common questions about studying medicine at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and hear from current students and staff from our School of Medicine.
Design Engineering: 19.00–20.00
Design engineers bring together design thinking and engineering knowledge to create something new, innovative and useful. At 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, you’ll have access to our world-leading facilities, including hackspaces and workshops, design studios and laboratories, presentation spaces and networking areas. Join this session and hear from current staff and students about this four-year course, which includes the option to carry out a paid six month placement in industry.
