AI, images and ownership: using generative tools ethically
In this interactive session, You will use a generative AI tool to create images and reflect on the process and think about who owns the copyright of images created by AI. You will explore key copyright and ethical considerations around AI-generated images, and discuss when and how they should be cited or attributed.
By the end of this session you will be able to:
- generate an image using a GenAI tool and describe how it was created
- identify key copyright and ethical issues linked to AI-generated images
- evaluate whether and how AI-generated images should be cited or attributed
