Although there is no library at the White City Campus, we offer the following library services.
Book delivery
To borrow a book from any 51³Ô¹ÏÍø library you can request it by choosing White City as the pickup location.
We will send you an email when your book is available and you will have 7 days to collect it from the self-service book locker in the Student Hub, Sir Michael Uren Building (West-side).
Collection times are 08.00 - 22.00 Monday - Sunday.
You can also return books via the locker during these hours.
Access to all 51³Ô¹ÏÍø libraries
51³Ô¹ÏÍø staff and students based at the White City campus can use all 51³Ô¹ÏÍø libraries.
The nearest library to White City Campus is the Hammersmith Campus Library, located in the Commonwealth Building at the Hammersmith Campus.
Access to the Commonwealth Building is restricted and requires an 51³Ô¹ÏÍø ID card and a door PIN code.
To set up access you can complete a Hammersmith Campus Library access request in advance of your visit. You will be asked to provide your name, CID number and a 4 digit PIN code of your choice. You can also visit the Hammersmith Security Office located on the ground floor of the Commonwealth Building during opening hours (Monday to Friday 10.00 - 12.00 and 14.45 - 16.00).
To access the Commonwealth Building report to the Main College Reception desk on the ground floor of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College Translational & Experimental Medicine Building (ICTEM). ICTEM Reception is open 08.00 - 17.00. You will not be able to access the Commonwealth Building without an ID and PIN Code outside these hours.
51³Ô¹ÏÍø runs a free shuttle bus between the Hammersmith, White City and South Kensington campuses.
