Our library is on the second floor of the Mint Wing of St Mary’s Hospital. We are next to Paddington station.

The Mint Wing is publicly accessible until 20.00 after which it becomes card controlled. You can enter the Mint Wing via Entrance C or H in the courtyard accessible from South Wharf Road, or via the entrance on Winsland Street.

About us

We are a quiet study space. Our library features artwork by Yuko Shiraishi.

• Library – study desks including height-adjustable, books, Library of Things, cosy corner, quiet booths, and accessible toilet
• ICT Suite – 16 51³Ô¹ÏÍø PCs, printer, and books

Resources

Our book collection covers general medicine (including medical textbooks), nursing and professions allied to medicine.

Our journal collection is entirely electronic.

Our Library of Things features wellbeing items, study support equipment and assistive technology loanable for library use only. iPad loans are available to 51³Ô¹ÏÍø users.

Quiet booths

We have two quiet booths located in the library’s corridor next to the accessible toilet. These booths are available to 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and NHS users. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø users can book using . Sign in with your 51³Ô¹ÏÍø username and password (do not include ic.ac.uk or imperial.ac.uk). NHS users can book by contacting us via telephone or e-mail.

You can book them for up to two hours per day.
