Powering artificial intelligence and machine learning for data-driven discovery

51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s new Principal Academic Building at the White City Campus will be a powerhouse for artificial intelligence and machine learning, bringing together computer scientists, mathematicians and business experts at an unprecedented scale in a single dedicated facility that promotes multidisciplinary research and delivers an exceptional student experience.

Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are accelerating the way in which data shapes our society, our economy, our ways of living and working, and our health and wellbeing. New digital tools and advanced computing infrastructure, alongside the skilled scientists, engineers and business leaders needed to apply them accurately and safely, are urgently needed to address the issues facing our environment, healthcare systems and security.

The Principal Academic Building will bring the university’s expertise in business, mathematics and computing into the heart of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s White City Campus breaking down barriers between disciplines and enabling experts to work side by side and tackle problems too great to solve in isolation.
