  • Provides access to resources in crystallography such as CSD and CrystalWorks and property data such as DETHERM. Off campus access requires registration.
  • PubChem is an open chemistry database at the US National Institutes of Health (NIH). PubChem includes information on chemical structures, identifiers, chemical and physical properties, biological activities, patents, health, safety and toxicity data.

  • Reaxys provides information from the essential chemistry databases Beilstein and Gmelin, as well as chemical patent information.

  • SciFinder is a key chemistry resource searchable by reference, substance, reaction or chemical structure. 

  • CAS Analytical Methods is a comprehensive, searchable database designed to help researchers quickly locate, compare, and validate step-by-step experimental procedures for chemistry. It streamlines R&D by providing curated protocols, including sample preparation, instrument parameters, and validation data from top journals and patents.

  • CAS Formulus is a comprehensive, web-based database and workflow tool designed to help formulation scientists accelerate product development. It enables researchers to find, analyze, and compare formulations from patents, journals, and product inserts across industries like pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and cosmetics.


Consists of 400 volumes, 250,000 substances and 1,200,000 citations covering a range of subjects including physical chemistry and crystallography. Includes Landolt-Börnstein.
