Students shared feedback that while 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s academic departments offer a strong sense of belonging, this is not always felt across the wider community, and that access to activities can depend on campus location. This is why we are strengthening collaboration across the university and expanding opportunities so all students can connect, belong and take part in the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø experience, wherever they study and even once you have graduated and become part of our alumni community.
This includes:
- Encouraging students to engage as active members of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø community, building relationships as future peers and collaborators
- Fostering a lifelong connection with students and alumni, both at departmental and university level through pastoral care and extracurricular activities
